Candi Ruppert, CPOⓇ, appears on the Charlotte Today show for the fifth time to teach viewers items they can donate to local charities.
Charlotte, North Carolina---January 22, 2020-- WCNC Charlotte Today hosted Candi Ruppert, Certified Professional Organizer® and owner of Sage Organizing Co. on the show for the fifth time. Charlotte Today’s co-hosts, Colleen Odeggard and Eugene Robinson, welcomed Ruppert back to the set to share some of her professional advice on decluttering and donating. During Ruppert’s segment, she listed six items that people often throw away but could be donated instead. Part of Sage Organizing Co.’s mission is to be a force for good in the Charlotte community, as noted on their website (https://www.sageorganizingco.com/). Ruppert started the interview with an important message, “So many people have items just sitting in their home that aren’t doing anything, they’re shoved in a closet, they’re shoved in a spare guest room and those are items that could go out and serve other people in the community.” Ruppert also provided names of local charities in Charlotte that would benefit the most from particular items. Some of the charities Ruppert recommended were Beds for Kids, Crisis Assistance Ministry, Jewish Family Services, and Habitat for Humanity. Lastly, Ruppert discussed a great resource which is the Charlotte Donation Service which will connect you with groups who will take items you don’t know what to do with. To contact Charlotte Donation Service, simply dial 211.
