Position Title:
Team Lead

Job Description:
Are you a natural leader who thrives on bringing order to chaos?

Join the Sage Organizing team in Charlotte, NC, where you’ll lead residential organizing projects, estate clear-outs, downsizing, packing, unpacking, and more. As a Team Leader, you’ll not only organize spaces but also guide our team and ensure clients have an exceptional experience.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive problem solver who enjoys hands-on work, can manage a team effectively, and communicates with professionalism and empathy.

What You’ll Do:
As a Team Lead, you’ll work on a project-by-project basis. While hours are flexible, they are not guaranteed.

Lead Work Session Team
  • Prepare and assign tasks so the team knows their responsibilities upon arrival.
  • Monitor progress, provide feedback, and adjust tasks as needed.
  • Keep the team on pace to meet project goals.
  • Ensure all project tasks in Basecamp are completed and documented.
Deliver Client Experience
  • Set clear, achievable session goals with the client at the start of each session.
  • Act as the primary contact for all client communication.
  • Lead the keep or discard portion of the session with the client.
  • Conduct the Big Reveal at the end of each session.
  • Request a Google review from the client on the spot.
  • Advise the client of any additional costs or time required for project completion.
  • Communicate any client issues to the owner immediately.
Document Work Sessions
  • Ensure all project documents and photos are uploaded to Basecamp daily.
Shopping
  • Measure, order, and coordinate product and material purchases as needed, in coordination with Director of Operations.
  • Ensure timely pickup and return of products and materials.
  • Submit all receipts correctly and on time.
Promote Company Programs and Initiatives
  • Use brand-specific language (Big Reveal, Removal Approval, No Blame, No Shame).
  • Offer additional services the client may benefit from.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: Proven ability to lead organizing projects, including closet, kitchen, basement, and whole-home organization as well as packing, unpacking, and downsizing experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to guide a team, give clear direction, and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Client Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage client expectations, offer solutions, and create a positive experience.
  • Physical Endurance: Ability to carry 50 pounds up and down stairs multiple times during a 4-hour session. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions for up to 6 hours.
  • Tech-Savviness: Comfortable using apps for navigation, texting, photos, project management, time tracking, and cloud storage.
  • Time Management: Excellent ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail without getting stuck in perfectionism.
  • Availability: We work Monday-Friday, 9 AM-4 PM. We do not work nights, weekends, or holidays.

Join the Sage Organizing team, where you’ll help clients in the Charlotte, NC area tackle residential organizing projects, estate clear-outs, downsizing, packing, unpacking, and more.

We’re looking for hardworking, detail-oriented individuals who thrive on bringing calm to cluttered spaces. If you’re a self-starter, enjoy physical work, and have a knack for organization, we’d love to hear from you!

What you’ll do:
As a Team Member, you’ll work on a project-by-project basis. While hours are flexible, they are not guaranteed. 

Typical tasks include:
  • Organizing closets, kitchens, basements, garages, paperwork, and more.
  • Packing and unpacking during moves.
  • Assisting with estate clear-outs and downsizing projects.
  • Documenting progress with written notes and photos.
  • Using digital tools for project management, time tracking, and communication.
During a project, you’ll be expected to:
  • Arrive on time and ready for physical activity.
  • Be prepared, having reviewed the Project Overview and any required tools or skills.
  • Work independently while checking in with the Team Leader as needed.
  • Maintain professional communication with the team and clients.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: Proven ability to organize various spaces, including closets, kitchens, basements, and more. Packing and unpacking experience is a plus.
  • Physical Endurance: Ability to carry 50 pounds up and down stairs up to 15 times during a 4-hour session. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions for up to 6 hours.
  • Tech-Savviness: Comfortable using apps for navigation, texting, photos, project management, time tracking, and cloud storage.
  • Time Management: Excellent ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail without getting stuck in perfectionism.
  • Availability: We work Monday- Friday, 9am-4pm.  We do not work on nights, weekends, or holidays. 

Our ideal candidate is:
